Happy yays for no more long journeys to work!

If you have recently found yourself un-friended from my lj, it was either me being a butterfingers and slipping with the cursor or because I'm having a little of a cull right now. So no drama or OMG they hate me things ok? It takes me over an hour usually just to read through 1 days entries ^.^;; so it just felt like time to do something about it.

So!
Now that the wireless has wandered back over my way I can finally update about stuff of late :)

So, expo is too far out of my mind to really update more than WOAH BUSY! But it was a lot of fun. Bought more stuff that I probably should have but most of it was for Kyle anyway ^.^

Next? Last Thursday I did a little bit of helping out in ADV's office in Chalk Farm. Was pretty much just intern stuff, not paid but it was good fun, plus I got to take a LOAD of magazines home and get to see, hold and drool over the new NGE platinum boxset. I want one! So preeeeeeeetty
Off for a little venture into the pub with Paul and Ath, I miss those guys! Was good to catch up though and even met 2 cool people on the table next to us whilst talking Tekken. One of them is in the games design industry so I got his email so Kyle can get somewhere quicker with his level design :)
Friday I was in again but it was mostly just sorting out the stock we needed for IMAF. Cue sore muscles and bleeding fingers! Still, again, was good fun and I'll be able to reference it as job experience. Though technically I wasn't actually working ^.^
Friday night and we head off all packed up we head off to County Hall. Jeez did we ever have a postage stamp as a stall! Finish setting up and I introduce Hugh to Neds Noodle Box, good to see they're doing well since I last popped in :) Head off home to watch more Farscape. Nummy!
Saturday morning and I expect Kyle to be getting in around 12 ish, much surprise when I find he grabbed a REALLY early train to get in and see me. He's so sweet. So, all 3 of us get in and take all of 30 minutes getting all ready for people to buy stuff. Explain to Kyle what to do (he agreed to help us out on the stall both days) and the rest of the day goes pretty smoothly, except for selling out of some stock pretty quickly :)
Ran into loads of people I know, it was nice to see them all again, Kyle took a few trips off to DDRUK, shame I didn't get to go on anything but I had to get back when Hugh got a bit of a hypo from lack of sugar and Kim was late due to crappy transport :S So, lunch! Neds again YAY! Time draws on and me and Kyle head off to the furmeet, about 3 hours later than planned!

Furmeet! Fantastic as usual! Said hello to most people, relaxed a bit due to a cold that had been swarming around me then off to para with Mecks, Bob and Cero. I forget how few songs that machine has on it sometimes, that'll teach me for learning them all off the internet! Off for a little game of IN MY PANTS in HMV, Cero won... outright! Next up, the joys of Karaoke! Need to go there more often, and not lose my voice half way through ^.^;; Kyle showed his true colours and wowed everyone with just how well he can sing, even I've never heard him sing like that so kudos to Kyle for being brave enough to unleash himself :) Bek-e made us all die laughing with her mothers re-indition of whatever it was. I remember having the other mik but laughing too much to breathe let alone sing! Steve! Cookie Monster! YAY! Cero performed a wonderful serenade to Bek-e in the form of Monty Pythons Sit On My Face Uber LOLS! Mosey rocked hard at her weird song with strange lyrics about sex or something... I'l remember the name of it one day :) I wish I could remember other peoples names but alas, I am dumb!
Then we all parted ways and went home.
I personally curled up with Kyle and enjoyed it muchly. I miss him so much and can't sleep right when he's not there :(

Sunday!
Hugh and Kim gave us the morning off which was so nice, I really needed that sleep! Much of the same on Sunday. Sell, take money, write receipt, talk to customers etc. It's still fun to do though, well I enjoyed it! Managed to bag myself good deals on a cute little tied up-panties down-ball gagged-boobs out model, it's on top of my monitor giving me dirty thoughts! And a Sega prize Ayanami Rei in a Nurses uniform. I need more space to display this stuff! Kyle was also really sweet and bought me Princess Ai v3 and Negima v7. I love him so much. He's always buying me little things here and there ^.^ Day comes to a close at 6 and we pack up and head back to the office, unload stuff and head on our way home. Knackered!

Monday I did not a lot else but sleep, with a fever, from flu. Kyle just cuddled into me all day :) I wish I didn't get ill so much. It's backed off into a cold now. I just need to rest, which is good cause I have SO much of my scarf left to knit! Not even half way through! Though I am doing it about 3 metres long! I like long scarfs! And I hate big knit yarn!
I did venture out and get a copy of Super Mario Bros for my DS, but it was SO worth it! :D

Bob! Cero! I have your copies of Haibane Renmei whenever you want them. Or mailed to you or something. Let me know :)

First note is about the expo, it was fantastic! I'd say more but I'm a bit agitated right now because of the following!

I am teaching myself how to knit! Without the aid af my beloved knitting machine!
Not going too well so far, I'm still trying to recall how to cast on... it's in my memory somewhere.
I know there are SO many people out there who can help me and thousands of guides online but I'm determined to remember and do it myself!

The reason I'm starting is because a) Trewins no longer stock fabrics here so I thought I'd start learning this. b) I can never be bothered to pay for something when I know I can make it better and cheaper myself and c) (main reason) everyone loves my new hat! It's a beanie with Kyou from Fruits Basket on it and it really suits me :) so I thought I'd take care of 2 things at once and make myself one, but with colour! It's going to be red! People always make comments about my only wearing black and I know I do... I've always felt safer in black cause it's slimming and I hate my figure. But now I have people around me that make me feel good about myself and I think I can branch out into the colour spectrum.
It might only be a hat but gotta start somewhere!

The only thing is at the moment I'm knitting a scarf... I think it'd be a better idea to start with something simple then go for the hat. Plus it means a matching scarf and hat set! I will learn to accesorise one day too....
Now to try casting on again!

Bum. Washing is done... *sigh* I hate sorting out my socks, the washer always eats one.
